Secondly we are moving to the Mister's home state Oklahoma. This is something the Father told us to do even before all the drama in our lives started, we just didn't know when we'd be going or how. Here is a video you can watch on our facebook profile that goes more into detail regarding why we are moving:
What makes this move so difficult is the many friends we have to leave behind that we love on a really deep level. I have established more deep connections here in WA than I have anywhere else in my life. I have cried about this move soooooo many times since realizing we are leaving and will probably not be moving back. My prayer now is that Adonai will have all my friends move closer to me some time in the future. No matter what He decides, I am so thankful to know that this isn't a permanent goodbye, but an "I'll see you later!" Whether it is in this life or the next, I know I'll see them all again.
HOW we are moving to Oklahoma is probably the most intriguing and exciting part of our lives to date. The first order of business is to sell our house, which we are already in the process of doing. Actually I will probably explain the amazing process of how we cleaned it out, moved out, and got it ready for the market in less than 2 weeks in another post some day!!! But right now I'll condense this version by saying our house is already almost sold. It was only on the market for 3 days when we snagged a buyer.
YOU'RE LIVING IN WHAAAT?!?!
Probably the most intriguing part of this entire move is HOW we will be moving to Oklahoma. We have decided to sell our house and take a long road-trip in our travel trailer across the country that will take somewhere between 3 weeks to a month before we reach our destination. There will be many friends and family members we'll have the chance to visit with and we'll get to see a lot of really cool places like the Red Woods, the Grand Canyon, and Chaco canyon (to name a few).
As we wait for the sell of our house we are currently living in our Travel Trailer and have been for a month now. Yes you heard that correctly: 2 adults, 3 kids, a cat, and a dog area all living in a 30ft Travel Trailer. Think we are crazy? The Mister thought it was the most insane idea also, but now that we are doing it he and I both are pleasantly surprised.
Stay tuned for the next post and I will go more into detail regarding our lives in our Trailer.
